X-Ray Technician Responsibilities:
· Verifying patients' identity and reviewing physicians’ orders before beginning x-ray procedures.
· Using x-ray equipment to take radiographic images of patients' bones, tissues, and organs as per physicians’ written orders.
· Explaining x-ray procedures to patients and answering their questions.
· Positioning patients accordingly, which may include lifting and moving patients with limited mobility.
· Limiting patients' exposure to radiation by placing lead shields on patients where needed.
· Ensuring that the x-rays taken are of sound quality to prevent repeat procedures.
· Working closely with the resident Radiologist to determine whether further tests are required.
· Ensuring that the x-ray equipment is regularly serviced and in good working order.
· Promptly notifying management of damaged or malfunctioning x-ray equipment.
· Maintaining an accurate record of completed x-ray procedures.
X-Ray Technician Requirements:
· Bachelor's or associate's degree in radiologic technology, radiology, or a related field.
· Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
· Appropriate state licensure.
· Proven experience working as an X-ray technician.
· Ability to move or lift patients.
· Ability to stand for extended periods.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Effective written and verbal communication skills.

10. Establishes and maintains ethical working relationships and good rapport with all interrelating
hospitals, referral or commercial agencies

12. Performs all requested sonographic examinations as ordered by the attending physician
Qualifications
· Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic technology training in an AMA-approved school
and ability to meet requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic
Technologists (ARRT) and/or Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT)
· Graduate of a formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or Cardiovascular Technology
Program that is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education
Programs (CAAHEP) preferred
as appropriate

Prepares slides of body tissue to be used for observation. They work in conjunction with a healthcare team or medical staff to ensure the tissue is obtained in the appropriate manner, and work on the necessary steps of preparation. They help the rest of the lab staff in any responsibilities required to prepare for observation of all tissue samples.
A histological technician ensures the specimens taken are acceptable and are sustainable in the required observation and diagnosis. They also take in samples for outside laboratories or third parties, and ensure they are sustainable and fit for observation.

Must have EPIC charting experience.

Responsibilities:
· Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans in consultation with healthcare professionals.
· Evaluating medical information, as well as providing direct and individualized bedside nursing care to pre-and post-surgery patients.
· Preparing, administering and recording prescribed medications.
· Changing dressings, inserting catheters, and starting IVs.
· Adjusting specialized medical equipment as needed, as well as interpreting and recording measurements.
· Monitoring patients' vitals and reporting adverse reactions to medications in a timely manner.
· Collaborating on discharge planning with the healthcare team.
· Answering questions and educating patients and their families on surgical procedures and post-surgery care.
· Maintaining and updating patient files, medical charts, and health records.
· Adhering to best nursing practices, standards, and protocols.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in nursing.
· Certified MS-RN preferred.
· State-approved nursing licensure.
· At least two years' experience as a medical-surgical nurse in a similar facility.
· Extensive experience in monitoring a broad range of medical conditions.
· In-depth knowledge of best practices in medical-surgical nursing.
· Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
· Superb interpersonal, communication, and collaboration abilities.
