Job Qualifications: A BS in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Laboratory Science or a BS in Biology and at least one year of training and experience in high complexity testing. Meet all CLIA-88 guidelines, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Receive, label and analyze samples (blood, toxic, tissue etc.)
Design and execute laboratory testing according standard procedures, make observations and interpret findings
Conduct experiments under defined conditions to verify/reject various types of hypotheses using refined scientific methods
Organize and store all chemicals substances, fluids and compressed gases according to safety instructions
Record all data and results in specified forms (paper and electronic) with accuracy and responsibility
Maintain equipment and assist in ordering laboratory supplies
Ensure that all safety guidelines are followed strictly at all times and maintain a clean and orderly environment

General Duties and Responsibilities:
· Verifying patients' identity and reviewing physicians’ orders before beginning x-ray procedures.
· Using x-ray equipment to take radiographic images of patients' bones, tissues, and organs as per physicians’ written orders.
· Explaining x-ray procedures to patients and answering their questions.
· Positioning patients accordingly, which may include lifting and moving patients with limited mobility.
· Limiting patients' exposure to radiation by placing lead shields on patients where needed.
· Ensuring that the x-rays taken are of sound quality to prevent repeat procedures.
· Working closely with the resident Radiologist to determine whether further tests are required.
· Ensuring that the x-ray equipment is regularly serviced and in good working order.
· Promptly notifying management of damaged or malfunctioning x-ray equipment.
· Maintaining an accurate record of completed x-ray procedures.
Technician Requirements:
· Bachelor's or associate's degree in radiologic technology, radiology, or a related field.
· Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
· Appropriate state licensure.
· Proven experience working as an X-ray technician.
· Ability to move or lift patients.
· Ability to stand for extended periods.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Effective written and verbal communication skills.
· A patient and compassionate disposition.

Core Competencies: Demonstrated competency in performance of professional nursing functions. Requires excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to work with dying patients and their families. Possesses a sympathetic attitude toward caring for the hospice patient and demonstrates positive communication skills in interacting with other members of the hospice team.
Other: Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Performs comprehensive nursing evaluations.
2. Assesses for signs and symptoms of discomfort including presence of pain and takes prompt and appropriate action.
3. Initiates plan of care and appropriate supervises, provides appropriate nursing follow- up to all patients. Instructs caregivers in managing patient needs and submits appropriate documentation within 24 hours of visit.
4. Coordinates all services provided to patients/families in all settings to ensure quality of care and services as well as appropriateness of care.
5. Supervises the implementation of the approved plan of care, modifies as needed, and contacts physician when appropriate.
6. Provides supervision of care team including but not limited to: LVN/LPN, Certified Nursing Assistants, or other clinical team members.
7. Demonstrates flexibility in scheduling, and readily accepts new admissions and emergency assignments as requested.
8. Maintains knowledge of state and federal regulations.
9. Participates in QAPI program

Need Specifics: Shifts are 630-3, 730-4, 830-5, 9-6 or 10-6 depending on the day/staff it varies day to day. They will be expected to take on-call some nights as well. Some weekend shifts are also needed. Facility is looking for a generalist who is able to do a a little bit of everything- including blood draw. Experience in CPSI/Evident LIS is helpful! COVID vaccine required- medical exemptions will be reviewed.
Job Requirements
Licensure/Certification: MT.
BLS Certification in AHA.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Receive, label and analyze samples (blood, toxic, tissue etc.)
Design and execute laboratory testing according standard procedures, make observations and interpret findings
Conduct experiments under defined conditions to verify/reject various types of hypotheses using refined scientific methods
Organize and store all chemicals substances, fluids and compressed gases according to safety instructions
Record all data and results in specified forms (paper and electronic) with accuracy and responsibility
Maintain equipment and assist in ordering laboratory supplies
Ensure that all safety guidelines are followed strictly at all times and maintain a clean and orderly environment
