We are currently seeking a qualified Certified Nurse Midwife Services for an Indian Health System IHS Hospital in SD.

· Hours of operation: Work shifts will vary between clinic schedules and on-call

· rotation. Clinic rotation is an eight (8) or ten (10) hour day and will be worked between the hours of 8:00

· am and 4:30 pm or 8:00 am and 6:30 pm. These hours are classified as Regular Hours.

· Pine Ridge Indian Health Service Certified Nurse Midwife Performance Work Statement

· A thirty (30) minute lunch break is required, is not billable and is not to adversely affect patient care. If

· work is performed over the 12:00 pm (Noon) lunch period, a 30-minute lunch may be taken at a more

convenient time.

· On-call rotation hours vary between 4:30 pm to 8:00 am; 6:30 pm to 8:00 am; 8:00 am to 8:00 pm; 8:00

· pm to 8:00 am. The contract CNM shall participate in the weeknight, weekend and holiday Midwifery

· call schedule. These hours are classified as On-call Hours.

Qualifications: Contractor’s Licenses/Certifications

· Three-(3) letters of professional reference less than six-(6) months old from at least (1)

· supervisor and (2) from peers.

· Active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) license including prescription privileges of Schedule 2

· & 2N.

· Current Liability Insurance of not less than $300,000/$1,000,000.

· Record of recent (< 3 years) continuing education units (CEUs) or continuing medical education

· (CMEs) consisting of at least 20 credits of ongoing education in the area of OB/GYN care yearly.

· Contractors not furnishing adequate number of CMEs before the expiration of their medical staff

· appointment will not have their credential file submitted for their next two-(2) year permanent medical

· staff appointment and clinical privileges.

· (ACLS, medical license, Diplomas, ACLS, NRP, BLS);

· minimum 2 years experience

Job Duties :

a. Management of intrapartum period for normal and high-risk mothers; provide health care for

newborns; provides women’s health care and adult/adolescent sexual assault forensic exams (SAFE)

related to sexual assault, educate, counsel, and advise patients on all aspects of the reproductive

cycle and related psychosocial issues;

b. Provides on call & consultative Midwifery services. On call services include Labor and Delivery, care

of the postpartum patient, emergent women’s health issues, and sexual assault examinations.

c. Routine duties shall include providing maternal health care services.

d. Knowledge of nurse-midwifery and medical management practices in caring for well-women,

mothers and newborns and patients affected by sexual assault throughout the lifespan.

e. Knowledge of frequently used drugs including normal dosage, administration, action, adverse

effects and ability to perform and interpret specified laboratory tests.

g. Ability to teach, counsel and facilitate participation throughout the lifespan.

h. Ability to utilize, implement and supervise electronic data collection equipment; to interpret and

standards. This includes COVID-19 policies/procedures, appropriate use of Personal Protective

Equipment (PPE), and hand hygiene policies, to which include, requirements to wear masks at all

times during work hours.

j. Contract staff shall respect and maintain basic rights of patients to include but not be limited to

personal dignity.

We are currently seeking a qualified Sonography tech for a Hospital in Hot Springs National Park, TX.

Duties :

1. Performs clinical assessment and diagnostic sonography examinations

2. Uses cognitive sonographic skills to identify, record and adapt procedures as appropriate to

anatomical, pathological, diagnostic information and images

3. Uses independent judgment during the sonographic exam to accurately differentiate between

normal and pathologic findings

4. Analyses; sonograms, synthesize sonographic information, medical history, and communicates

findings to the appropriate physician

5. Coordinates work schedule with Departmental Director and/or scheduling desk to assure

workload coverage

6. Assumes responsibility for the safety, mental and physical comfort of patients while they are in

the sonographer’s care

7. Assists with the daily operations of the sonographic laboratory

8. Maintains a daily log of patients seen/completes exam billing forms

9. Participates in the maintenance of laboratory accreditation

10. Establishes and maintains ethical working relationships and good rapport with all interrelating

hospitals, referral or commercial agencies

11. Performs other work-related duties as assigned

12. Performs all requested sonographic examinations as ordered by the attending physician

Qualifications

· License: ARDMS

· Graduate of a formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or Cardiovascular Technology

Program that is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education

Programs (CAAHEP) preferred

as appropriate

· Current BLS

Unit Specifics: Radiology Tech, who can perform Xray & CT.

• This will be CT Tech only

• They use Toshiba/Canon CT scanners that are user friendly

· Decatur is less than 35 minutes to Denton, Texas and only 40 minutes to Fort Worth, or an hour to Dallas! Your traveler would be in a great spot with a lot of options.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

· Verifying patients' identity and reviewing physicians’ orders before beginning x-ray procedures.

· Using x-ray equipment to take radiographic images of patients' bones, tissues, and organs as per physicians’ written orders.

· Explaining x-ray procedures to patients and answering their questions.

· Positioning patients accordingly, which may include lifting and moving patients with limited mobility.

· Limiting patients' exposure to radiation by placing lead shields on patients where needed.

· Ensuring that the x-rays taken are of sound quality to prevent repeat procedures.

· Working closely with the resident Radiologist to determine whether further tests are required.

· Ensuring that the x-ray equipment is regularly serviced and in good working order.

· Promptly notifying management of damaged or malfunctioning x-ray equipment.

· Maintaining an accurate record of completed x-ray procedures.

Technician Requirements:

· Bachelor's or associate's degree in radiologic technology, radiology, or a related field.

· BLS

· Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

· Appropriate state licensure.

· Proven experience working as an X-ray technician.

· Ability to move or lift patients.

· Ability to stand for extended periods.

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Effective written and verbal communication skills.

· A patient and compassionate disposition.
