Need Specifics: ASAP START! PLEASE READ ALL DETAILS- THIS IS FOR A BLOOD BANK SPECIALIST. This will be a Monday-Friday position- facility is looking to fill a team lead position. ASCP registration is fine. They won’t need an SBB. They process between 8-12 patient samples per day. They consist of Type and Screens and Crossmatches. They don’t do antibody IDs here in this lab. They will be using this person to review the BBK policies and procedures, and to help bring our staff up to speed. They have limited experience in the BBK.

Job Requirements

• Licensure/Certification: MT.
• BLS Certification in AHA.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Decisions concerning sample collection and handling
• Daily instrument maintenance and quality control
• Sample testing
• Collection and interpretation of data
• Maintenance of accurate records and reporting of data
• Knowledge of critical values
