We are currently seeking an MRI Tech for a Contract Position at a hospital in TX!

Need Specifics: MRI Tech needed! facility is building a new facility that will house a brand new MRI Suite! They would like the traveler to help in training any oncoming staff and they would prefer someone who is comfortable with X-Ray and CT as well.

Perform MRI procedures at a tech level in accordance with protocols. 2. Maintain proper quality control procedures. 3. Must have knowledge of regulatory requirements relating to MRI exams and equipment. 4. Establish and maintain effective working relationship with patients, medical staff and the public. 5. Knowledge of concepts, standards, procedures and equipment. 6. Must be able to work extended hours when necessary.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Maintain a safe and appropriate work area. Maintain inventory of supplies. 2. Adhere to employer work practices as described in TDC Occupational Exposure Plan policy. 3. Knowledge of basic patient care and activities that may be necessary during exam. 4. Attend required meetings and participate in committees as requested. 5. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. 6. Work as a team member within the imaging department and all other departments. 7. Document work processes as required. 7. Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS: Education: 1. High school diploma or equivalent. 2. Completion of an accredited Radiology program required Certification/Licensure: 1. National registration with the American Registry of Radiology Technologists. (AART) 2. Current CPR certification for Health Care Providers. Experience: Minimum one (1) years experience in MRI.
