We are currently seeking a qualified MT Manager for a Hospital in Crane, TX.
Specialty: Clinical Laboratory (Labs)
Shift: 8 Hour Days
Need Specifics: This is for a MT MANAGER. The manager does also do bench work and they have a full time phlebotomist that works days to assist the manager. They need to be a certified lab tech with blood bank experience and MANAGER experience! The shift is 6:30 or 7a for 8 hours. They might have one weekend of call per month if they can’t get coverage.
- Licensure/Certification: MT.
- BLS Certification in AHA.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Decisions concerning sample collection and handling
- Daily instrument maintenance and quality control
- Sample testing
- Collection and interpretation of data
- Maintenance of accurate records and reporting of data
- Knowledge of critical values
