Requirements:  1-year Dental Assistant experience (preferred) Reason for Need: staff shortage Credentialing Timeframe:  2-3 weeks on average Additional Info: *** any State License *** Job Duties:

1.           Answering phones and scheduling appointments

2.           Updating and maintaining patient dental records

3.           Overseeing patient check-in procedures

4.           Coding and preparing insurance forms.

1.           Scheduling referral and testing appointments

2.           General office administration

3.           Showing patients to their exam rooms

4.           Preparing patients for procedures and/or surgeries

5.           Assisting with procedures such as fillings, crowns, and extractions

6.           Making dental impressions

7.           Sterilizing dental tools and equipment

8.           Post-procedure clean-up
